Exploring

Took the quad out around the property, there are these old unused railroad tracks that split right down the middle of the 1/4 section of land.

Target Practice

Last Day

Tomorrow morning we're leaving for home, we'll take the long and more scenic way through Jasper/Banff/Revelstoke.

Fracking

So this part of BC is riddled with fracking wells, pumping 528 chemicals into the ground at pressure to shatter the rock releasing natural gas... So the scientific data coming out of heavily fracked areas points towards aquifer and drinking water contamination... Watch "Gasland" and "The Sky is Pink" (both documentaries) for further education. Anyway this process is raping this beautiful landscape from its pristine condition, an has been the only thing ive found horrible about being up here....

So driving down the road today we saw the start of a massive field of wind turbines... Although most hope is lost for our pursuit of energy... It was nice to see someone still thinks rationally.
